In today’s world, there is growing concern about the rising rates of male and female infertility and sexual health problems. These issues are not always rooted in medical conditions—many may be linked to spiritual causes such as Jinn possession, black magic (sihr), and the evil eye (ayn).
Humans can only see 1% of the visible light spectrum, which means we can only see 1% of what is going on around us. In other words, we are unable to see the vast 99% of the world we live in. take a moment to absorb that. The majority of our existence is unseen. Humans can see frequencies from 430-790 THZ and perceive sound between 20 HZ- 20 KHZ. These ranges are just a tiny portion of the entire spectrum of light and sound meaning much of what exists is entirely invisible to us.
Centuries ago, Sheikh Ibn Taymiyyah noted in his work “Essay on the Jinn” that if the unseen were unveiled, we would see nearly half the population affected by Jinn.
Common Infertility and Sexual Issues Associated with Jinn Influence
In Women:
Menstrual irregularities
Hormonal imbalances
Poor ovarian reserve
Premature ovarian failure (early menopause)
Low libido
Pain during intercourse (dyspareunia)
Vaginismus or inability to engage in intercourse
Lack of arousal or frigidity
In Men:
Erectile dysfunction
Low sexual desire
Premature, delayed, or inhibited ejaculation
Retrograde ejaculation
These conditions, when unexplained by medical diagnosis, may be the result of spiritual afflictions caused by:
Jinn Possession
Black Magic
The Evil Eye
You can’t and should not stay in denial because of lack of understanding of the other people around them. As they are not suffering and you are suffering and they may not understand and simply want to stay in denial because of their own biases about the spiritual world. Many people who are suffering from such issues lack family support or at times feel ashamed to discuss with their family or friends.
Recognizing these spiritual causes is essential to seeking the right healing through the Qur’an, Ruqyah, and trust in Allah’s protection.
The Unseen World of Jinn: Influence on Health and Human Behavior
The world of the Jinn is mysterious and often feared, but understanding it can help explain many unseen or unexplained human experiences — including some health and psychological issues. Jinn, created by Allah from smokeless fire, were formed before humans and live in a parallel, invisible world. The Qur’an states:
“Indeed, he (Iblis) and his tribe watch you from where you cannot see them.” (Surah Al-A’raf 7:27)
The word Jinn comes from the Arabic root “Janna”, meaning “to hide.” Some scholars, like Muhammad Marmaduke Pickthall, interpreted Jinn as extraterrestrial beings, while modern science speculates about life forms made of plasma energy — possibly aligning with the Qur’anic description of Jinn as beings of “smokeless fire” (Surah Ar-Rahman 55:15, Al-Hijr 15:27).
Scientists have suggested that electromagnetic fields influence brain activity. This may help us understand how Jinn (or Shayatin) whisper (Waswasa) or influence human thoughts — by disrupting natural electromagnetic activity in the brain, potentially affecting mood, thoughts, and health.
Female Infertility and the Role of Jinn: A Spiritual Perspective
There is a general consensus among many ruqya practitioners (raqis) around the world that jinn may play a role in some cases of female infertility, especially when medical explanations or treatments fail to identify a cause or bring results. This belief is based on experiences in Islamic spiritual healing, and it’s often supported by cases where women reportedly conceived after undergoing Ruqya treatment.
It is believed that a Jinn—male or female—attracted to a woman, may settle in the reproductive system, block the fallopian tubes, damage the ovum, or disturb the womb to prevent conception.
Sometimes, the Jinn allows pregnancy to occur, only to later cause miscarriage by striking a vein in the womb, leading to sudden bleeding. This is often cited as a cause for repeated, unexplained miscarriages.
The Jinn are thought to be attracted to menstrual blood and reproductive fluids, both considered impure in Islamic tradition. Their influence may lead to symptoms like irregular periods, continuous bleeding, or even aversion to marital intimacy.
The Prophet ﷺ referred to abnormal or prolonged bleeding as a result of Satan’s stomping on a vein (Tirmidhi, Bukhari, Ahmad, An-Nasa’i).
Symptoms and health conditions for Jinn inflicted Female Infertility:
Women affected may experience symptoms such as:
Irregular or painful menstruation, heavy periods
Fibroids, ovarian cysts, hormonal imbalance
Unexplained medical infertility
Recurrent miscarriages
Premature menopause
Unexplained weight issues (anorexia or obesity)
Endometriosis — a painful and often incurable disorder affecting fertility
Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS)
Vaginismus
Heaviness in the womb
Loss of interest in Intimacy (Low libido)
Sudden marital problems
Disturbed sleep
Nightmares
Sexual dreams
Case 1: Case of Unexplained Infertility Resolved After Ruqya (Sihr)
A couple in their 30s had been trying to conceive for over 5 years. Multiple medical tests showed no issues with either partner. The woman suffered from:
Disturbed sleep
Low libido
Dreams of snakes and dark shadows
Heavy periods or irregular cycles
After Ruqyah sessions, she got pregnant within months.
Case 2: Case of Ashiq Jinn (Lustful Jinn or Lover Jinn) Possession Causing Reproductive Blockage
One of the commonly reported cases is with respect to lover jinn or ashiq jinn. In one such case a woman would experience severe abdominal pain during ovulation and would sometimes faint.
During Ruqyah sessions, she reported strong reactions in her lower abdomen, and would scream or cry.
After Ruqyah the symptoms vanished and she eventually conceived.
Case 3: Repeated Miscarriages After 3 Month of pregnancy – Sihr of the Womb
There are reported cases where women experience multiple miscarriages, always around the same month (e.g., 3rd month), with no medical cause. This is sometimes referred to as “sihr al-rahim” (sihr targeting the womb).
After Ruqyah symptoms the women eventually conceived.
Male Infertility and the Influence of Jinn & Sihr (Black Magic)
In Islamic tradition, Jinn—especially female Jinn attracted to men—are believed to contribute to certain forms of male infertility. They may:
Disrupt sperm production and motility
Cause abnormal sperm or ejaculation issues (e.g., premature, retrograde ejaculation)
Trigger erectile dysfunction or impotence
These issues may also arise due to Sihr (black magic), evil eye, or Jinn possession.
Sihr, as defined by scholars like Ibn Qudamah, involves knots, spells, or incantations that affect a person’s body or mind without direct contact. It can lead to:
Illness or even death
Sexual dysfunction or inability to consummate marriage
Division between spouses or manipulation of emotions (love or hate)
Witchcraft, astrology, fortune-telling, and similar practices are forms of shirk (associating partners with Allah) and forbidden in Islam. Visiting such practitioners opens the door to Shayatin (devils), who may cause spiritual and physical harm.
These disbelieving Jinn are often summoned through contracts by magicians. They may target a person using personal items (hair, nails, clothes) or even their photograph. Individuals with weak faith are more vulnerable.
Quranic references:
“And whoever is blinded from the remembrance of the Most Merciful – We appoint for him a devil, and he becomes his companion.” (Quran 43:36)
“They increased mankind in sin and transgression.” (Quran 72:6)
Hadith warning:
“Whoever visits a fortune teller and believes in what they say has disbelieved in what was revealed to Muhammad (ﷺ).” — Musnad Al-Bazzar
Ayn (Evil Eye) – A Silent Danger
The Evil Eye (Ayn) is a real and powerful phenomenon recognized in Islam. It is a form of spiritual harm caused by envy, admiration, or jealousy—either intentionally or unintentionally—from both humans and Jinn. Even a righteous or loving person (e.g., a mother) may unintentionally cast the evil eye on someone they love.
The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said:
“Most of those who die in my Ummah die by Allah’s will, and then by the evil eye.” (Al-Bazzaar)
The evil eye can affect people, children, animals, property, and even oneself (e.g., while looking in the mirror). Ibn al-Qayyim described it as a spiritual arrow that hits an unprotected soul, causing illness, distress, or misfortune.
Qur’anic Evidence:
“And from the evil of the envier when he envies.” (Surah Al-Falaq 113:5)
Symptoms of Evil Eye:
Sudden sickness or misfortune without medical cause
Change in complexion, persistent headaches, or unexplained fatigue
Anxiety, sadness, depression, love of isolation
Physical issues like excessive yawning, palpitations, sweating, or urination
Mysterious loss of wealth, beauty, or success
Prevention & Protection:
Pray for blessings when admiring something:
Say “Ma Shaa Allah”, “Baarak Allahu feek”, or “Allahumma baarik”.
“If you see something you like, pray for blessings, for the evil eye is real.” – HaditSpiritual Remedies:
Recite Surah Al-Falaq, An-Naas, and Ayat Al-Kursi regularly
Perform Ruqyah (spiritual healing)
Take a bath with water used by the person who gave the eye (if known), as advised by the Prophet (ﷺ)
Envy (Hasad):
Hasad is more than admiration—it’s resenting others’ blessings and wishing them harm. The Prophet (ﷺ) warned:
“Jealousy and hatred destroy faith just as a razor shaves hair.” (Tirmidhi)
Spreading Salam (peace) among people is one way to nurture love and protect the heart from jealousy.
Jinn Possession – Causes, Signs, and Recognition
Jinn can possess humans for several reasons. Sometimes, it’s due to accidentally harming them—such as urinating or throwing hot water on them. Due to their volatile and vengeful nature, Jinn may retaliate excessively. In other cases, they possess out of pure malice, infatuation, or are used through black magic (Sihr) to harm others.
Common Causes:
- Accidental harm (e.g., stepping on or burning a Jinn)
- Revenge
- Obsession or infatuation
- Black magic (Sihr) as the most frequent method of attack
Possible Signs of Jinn Possession:
Strong aversion to Quran recitation or the call to prayer (Adhan)
Seizures or fainting during Quran recitation
Frequent nightmares, insomnia, or excessive sleepiness
Social withdrawal or unusual behavior
Sudden dislike for one’s spouse (Quran 2:102)
Behavior changes at home vs. outside
Inability to have sexual relations
Repeated miscarriages, infertility (male or female)
Irregular menstruation, unexplained bleeding, or early menopause
Drastic mood swings or behavior changes without clear cause
False memories or delusions
Sudden obsession or affection for someone
Diagnosis & Spiritual Clues:
Reciting the Quran may trigger a noticeable reaction—such as discomfort, aggression, or sudden emotional shifts—indicating the presence of a Jinn. The Shaytan cannot tolerate the words of Allah and may reveal itself during Ruqyah.
Qur’anic Insight:
“[Remember] when He overwhelmed you with drowsiness [giving] security from Him and sent down upon you from the sky, rain by which to purify you and remove from you the evil [suggestions] of Satan…”
(Surah Al-Anfal 8:11)
Case 1: Unexplained Infertility Despite Normal Tests of couple.
A couple had been trying to conceive for over 5 years. The man’s medical tests showed normal sperm count and hormone levels, and the wife had no medical issues either.
After exhausting all medical options, the couple opted for Ruqyah (spiritual healing).
This infertility was caused by jinns attached to man, causing the blockage in his reproductive system.
These jinns can be because of Love Jinn / Ashiq Jinn and Black Magic.
Note:
Similarly jinns also create blockages in the female reproductive system in different ways.
In men sometimes through black magic erectile dysfunction (ED) is caused. This is most often seen in newly married persons. This can be in two ways:
When man goes near wife ED will happen only then
Sudden ED just after marriage.
